To reach the rugged roadless mountains we have a 45 foot charming boat  for our use. “Fikssund” is one of the few remaining shetland boats (took refugees from Norway to Shetland  during ww2). By using this boat we can choose and wreck in touring mountains running from over 1000 m.o.h. and right down to the sea.

The boat "Fikssund" takes us fishing and gives us axess to the roadless mountains in Lofoten.

YOUR ACCOMODATION will be in the historic Villa Lofoten. This is a very cozy authentic villa adapted to modern needs. Here you will enjoy good food and drink, fireheated hot tub and good rest before new adventures await the next day.

Host, Eivind Drivflaadt at "Fikssund" heading to Trollfjord for a skiing adventure.

Host and guide on this adventure will be me, Eivind Drivflaadt. The reason I ended up here was my fascination for Lofoten, which occurred when I filmed the cinema documentary "Loop" in Lofoten in the winter of 2003. I fell in love with the nature and the culture and had to return. From 1996-2000 I made 4 ski and snowboard films, and in 2000 it was the first to get a cinema distribution on this type of film in Norway.

Enough background facts. I  love sharing these adven- tures with my guests and after 12 winters spent in Lofoten my passion grows every year when it comes to skiing here. Together with me a chef and professional guide/guides you will experience an unforgettable adventure here in the arctic.

SNOW CONDITIONS in Lofoten are usually powder snow from February to early April, and delicious springsnow in April and May. If northwest wind kicks in, we have powder until early May. Skiing season lasts usually to mid-May, sometimes longer.

Lofoten is suitable for everyone. We can hit  terrain that is super challenging and requires high levels of skiing, but also easier mountains with fantastic cruising for intermediate skiers who do not seek adrenaline rush when on a trip like this. Since we are based in a coastal climate, the weather is changing all the time. Therefore the weather forecast will decide a lot of our daily touring choices.  Our goal is anyway to spread spark, joy and and give you memories and inspiration for a lifetime.
