Based in VillaLofoten and Digermulen, we experience an amazing skiing adventure in the world's most beautiful archipelago, Lofoten. Our destination, Digermulen, a quiet little village in Lofoten surrounded by spectacular scenery, is the perfect basecamp if you seek the best skiing experiences these islands has to offer. From the living room window in charming and soulful VillaLofoten, you can overlook the highest peaks in Lofoten.

View from the villa

To reach the rugged roadless mountains we have a 45 foot charming boat for our use. “Fikssund” is one of the few remaining shetland boats (took refugees from Norway to Shetland during ww2). By using this boat we can choose and wreck in touring mountains running from over 1000 m.o.h. and right down to the sea. Back on the boat it feels great with after ski including a swim in Trollfjorden for the though ones(Vikings). Maybe we fish our dinner on our way back to Digermulen.

Back in the villa we make dinner before the evening continues outdoors in front of the open fire. Hopefully with dancing northern lights as a backdrop.

Host and guide on this adventure will be me, Eivind Drivflaadt. The reason I ended up here was my fascination for Lofoten, which occurred when I filmed the cinema documentary "Loop" in Lofoten in the winter of 2003. I fell in love with the nature and the culture and had to return. From 1996-2000 I made 4 ski and snowboard films, and in 2000 it was the first to get a cinema distribution on this type of film in Norway.

Lofoten is suitable for everyone. We can hit  terrain that is super challenging and requires high levels of skiing, but also easier mountains with fantastic cruising for intermediate skiers who do not seek adrenaline rush when on a trip like this.

Since we are based in a coastal climate, the weather is changing all the time. Therefore the weather forecast will decide a lot of our daily touring choices.  Our goal is anyway to spread spark, joy and and give you memories and inspiration for a lifetime.
